Long Term Impacts of Joint Replacement Surgery in Pediatric Patients

This study wants to learn about how total joint replacements affect the lives and physical abilities of children and young adults as they grow older.

Why this Research Matters

If you join this study, you will be asked to fill out 2 surveys before your joint replacement surgery. It will take you about 10-20 minutes to fill them out. You will fill out the same surveys at your doctor's visit three months and six months after your surgery.

Study Duration

You will also fill the surveys out every year for up to 20 years after your surgery. We hope that you will stay in the study as long as you see your doctor, but can leave the study at any time. Joining or leaving this study will not change the type of care you receive.

Who can Participate

10-25

You can join this study if you are scheduled to receive a total joint replacement surgery at Children's Hospital Colorado. The joint replacement surgery must not be because you have a solid tumor.
