We are looking for adults with a glioma brain tumor (grades 2, 3, or 4) to share their ideas on a new program to improve health and well-being for brain cancer survivors.
More people are living longer with brain cancer now than 50 years ago. This is especially true for younger people with certain types of brain tumors, like astrocytoma and oligodendroglioma. There are not many programs that promote overall health and wellbeing for brain cancer survivors after treatment. Learning how to manage mental health, stress, and overall wellness may improve quality of life. It is important to plan these programs with the help of people who are living with brain cancer.
You will take an online survey about your brain cancer history and current health status. You will also participate in an online focus group with other brain cancer survivors to share your thoughts on the content of the new program.
The online survey takes about 20-30 minutes, and the online focus group takes about 90 minutes.
