Alcohol and Sexual Communication Among Couples in the Real-World Relationships and Drinking Study
We are looking for couples who drink and are 18 years or older to join a study looking at alcohol use among romantic couples.
Why this Research Matters
This study wants to learn more about how romantic couples use alcohol. We also want to understand how alcohol is used during sexual activities.
What to Expect
If you choose to join the study, you and your partner will be asked to attend a virtual information session to learn more about the study. After that, we will ask you to fill out a survey with questions about your alcohol use, your behaviors, and your relationship with your partner. If you qualify, you will be asked to do a short 15-minute survey once a week for 26 weeks.
Study Duration
You and your partner will each have one virtual information session that lasts about an hour. After that, you will each do a short 15-minute online survey once per week for 26 weeks. Everything is done online - no need to meet in person.
Who can Participate
You can join this study if you:
- Are 18 or older
- Identify as cisgender
- Have a romantic partner that also is willing to participate?
- Drink alcohol
