In this study we want to learn if a new drug called vosoritide is safe and effective in helping kids with short stature and have been diagnosed with Turner syndrome, SHOX deficiency, or Noonan syndrome grow.
If you/your child join this study, you will have regular visits at Children’s Hospital Colorado. At these visits, we’ll check your overall health with physical exams and vital signs. We’ll also use a needle to take blood samples and ask you to provide urine samples. We'll have you complete surveys about your health and daily routine. We will use special machines to take pictures of your heart and measure your heartbeat. We’ll also use X-rays to look at different parts of your body. The study drug (vosoritide) is given as a small injection under your skin once a day. We’ll teach you how to give these injections, and you will take the study drug at home. You will be paid for all study visits that you complete.
You may be able to join this study if you are a female between 3 and 10 years old, or if you are a male between 3 and 11 years old. You need to have a genetically confirmed diagnosis of Turner syndrome, SHOX deficiency, or Noonan syndrome. You must also have a short stature for your age and sex.
