In this study, we want to learn more about how a child’s swimming ability relates to certain things such as playing sports, as well as traits like age, gender, and ethnicity.
Being able to swim is good for children’s health and confidence, yet some children face challenges when learning how to swim. This study will help us learn about those challenges and guide future efforts to make swimming more accessible and fair for everyone.
If you choose to join this study, you will fill out a few online surveys. You will be asked to provide general information about you and your child, such as age, gender, and ethnicity. There will be questions about you and your child’s ability to swim. We will also ask about any injuries they have had and the sports they have played. If you want to join this study, click the link at the bottom of this page. You also can click the “Get Started Now” button, and the surveys will appear after you fill out the brief webform.
Your time in this study lasts only the amount of time it takes you to fill out the surveys.
You can join this study if you are the parent of a child that is between 12 and 18 years old.
