This study wants to learn more about how COVID-19 and diabetes are connected.
Some studies show that getting COVID-19 might make it more likely for someone to get Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. COVID-19 might also make diabetes worse more quickly. This study will help us learn more about these problems. We are looking for people who have been recently told they have diabetes. Some of them will have had COVID-19 recently, and some will not.
This study will take place at 15 sites across the country. University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is one of those sites. If you join this study, you will fill out surveys by phone, online, or in-person. You will also provide regular blood samples.
You will be in the study for two years and must be able to travel to the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus for 6 in-person visits.
You might be able to join this study if you:
