Validation of Instruments Measuring Caregiver Experiences (Caregiver VOICE Study)

The goal of this study is to prioritize caregiver perspectives regarding the quality and satisfaction of dementia care their loved one is receiving. Sharing the lived experiences of caregivers gives health care providers an opportunity to better meet the needs of the patient and the caregiver in the future.


Why this Research Matters

Attention, Dementia Caregiving Dementia caregivers have important roles in supporting someone with Dementia. We are interested in hearing the voices of those caregivers. Participation in this telephone based study will take approx. 30-45 minutes. We are interested in your perspective on the quality and satisfaction of dementia care for you and your loves ones who are receiving.


Who can Participate

Adult

For the purposes of this study, a "caregiver" is any adult 18 years or older providing support to someone with any type of dementia, including mild cognitive impairment. The caregiver is not required to live with the care recipient and can live anywhere in the U.S. The care recipient must be alive, 18 years of age, and can live in residential or an institutional setting.
