Cannabinoids and Traumatic Brain Injury: A Randomized, Placebo Controlled Trial

This study plans to learn more about cannabidiol (CBD) as a potential treatment in patients that have Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)-related symptoms. CBD is a chemical found in the cannabis (or hemp) plant that can be used as a medication.


Why this Research Matters

Our study is seeking individuals aged 18-60, who have been diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). The goal of the study is to see whether cannabinoids (CBD) can improve TBI symptoms.


What to Expect

Main study tasks include blood draws, urine pregnancy and drug screening, questionnaires, and cognitive tests.

Study Duration

Your participation in this study will be 12 weeks, with 12 weeks of study medication use.

Who can Participate

18 to 60 years

1. Between the ages of 18-60 2. Diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) 3. Interested in using cannabidiol (CBD) for TBI symptoms
