Creation of a Bipolar Prediction Tool
This study wants to create a model that can predict Bipolar Disorder by looking at the the mental health history and MRI brain images of adults ages 18-40 with mood disorders.
Why this Research Matters
We are looking for young adults with mood disorders to be part of our study. If you join the study, you will have one visit at the Anschutz Medical Campus.
During the visit you will fill out surveys and talk with a mental health counselor about your mood disorder. You will have a brain MRI. The MRI machine uses strong magnets to take pictures of your brain. The magnets are safe, but the machine is noisy and has flashing lights. You will also do a urine drug test.
This study is one 3.5 hour visit.
You can join this study if you:
- Are 18-40 years old
- Have a mood disorder
- Do not have a serious health problem
