Cannabis Teens and Choice Study (CATCH Study)

This study seeks to better understand the effects of cannabis use during adolescence on decision making and reward responsivity and may identify biomarkers that help distinguish youth who experience impairments in decision making and are at higher risk of the negative effects of cannabis use.


Why this Research Matters

We are currently seeking participants ages 14-21 for a two visit (one remote, one on campus) study at CU Anschutz. The purpose of this research is to better understand the effects of substance use on decision making and biologic-systems in adolescents. Compensation is provided.


Who can Participate

1) Age 14-21 2) Using cannabis at least two days per week -OR- Not using cannabis
