We are looking for couples that have had two or more pregnancy losses with no known cause. We want to find out if genetics might be a reason for recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL).
This study wants to see if there are genetic reasons why some couples have multiple pregnancy losses. If you join, we will collect blood or saliva samples from you and your partner. We will also collect pregnancy tissue from your current or previous loss. These samples will be sent to Yale Medical Center for genetic testing to look for genes linked to pregnancy loss. You may learn more about why this happened to you. If we find any important information, we will share a report with you. We will also review your medical history. The study involves one visit that lasts about 1-2 hours.
You may be able to join if you are a women going through a pregnancy loss, have had at least one past pregnancy loss, are willing to give a blood or saliva sample, can provide pregnancy tissue from a loss, and can come to one visit at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus.
