This study will collect data from health records about people that have variations in their X & Y chromosomes to learn about their health. We also ask if people are willing to join future studies about X & Y variations.
In this study, we are forming a patient registry for people with variations in their X & Y chromosomes. Chromosomes are pieces of DNA inside cells that carry genetic data. A patient registry is a place where health data is gathered and stored for research. If you join this study, you agree to have your health records reviewed and data about your health stored for research without needing extra visits to your doctor. The goal of this study is to make healthcare better for people with X & Y variations. You can choose to join a list for future research and fill out yearly surveys, but you don't have to. You can still join the patient registry without signing up for the future research list or agreeing to fill out yearly surveys. You can join this study even if you go to clinics or hospitals other than Children's Hospital Colorado.
You can join this study if you have a confirmed genetic change in your X & Y chromosomes. This includes health issues like Klinefelter syndrome (XXY), Trisomy X (XXX), and XXYY syndrome. People of any age, sex, or gender are welcome.
