This study is for women who are about to start IVF. It will test if the medicine, Orilissa, which helps with endometriosis symptoms, will affect fertility.
This study is for women with endometriosis who are about to start in-vitro fertilization (IVF). It will test if Orilissa, a medicine for endometriosis symptoms, can improve fertility. If you join, you can choose to either be randomly placed in a group taking Orilissa or a placebo, or you can stick with your usual care. If you join, you can choose to either be randomly placed in a group taking Orilissa or a placebo, choose to take Orilissa, or you can stick with your usual care. You will take the study medicine or placebo twice a day for 60 days before starting IVF. The study lasts about 6 months, with up to 5 visits. During these visits, we will review your medical history, ask about your menstrual history, fill out questionnaires, and measure your height, weight and vital signs as needed. We will take a small amount of blood from your arm using a needle. You will have transvaginal ultrasounds done with your fertility treatment. This is a test where a small probe is placed inside your vagina to check your ovaries and uterus. You will be paid $100 if you complete all study visits.
Ages: 18-40 years old You may qualify for this study if you are 18 to 40 years old, have endometriosis, and are planning IVF to help with infertility.
