Healthy Volunteers Needed for Study Exploring Relationship between Sleep and Memory after a Traumatic Brain Injury
We are studying how sleep affects memory in people with traumatic brain injuries. We need healthy people that do not have any neurological conditions to join our study!
Why this Research Matters
This study wants to learn how sleep impacts the memory of people with traumatic brain injuries.
If you are interested, you will complete a screening call with a member of the study team to see if you qualify for the study. If you qualify, you will complete a one-time study visit. At this visit, you will complete memory tests and fill out surveys about your sleep. After that, you will have your brain activity recorded while resting and sleeping. This is called a magnetoencephalography. You will have to wear a helmet that has sensors on it. These sensors record your brain activity.
You will complete a study visit at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The visit will last about 4 hours.
Adults at least 30 years old.
You may join this study if you:
- Are 30 years old or older
- Have no brain conditions
- Have no implanted devices
- No metal implants that could affect brain recording (checked during screening call)
You will get $50 to be in the study.
