The Physical, Mental, and Emotional Effects of Youth Girls Flag Football: A Prospective Investigation
Description
Participants will complete three in person visits (1) mid-August 2023 (2) mid/late October 2023 (3) April 2024. They will complete 20 minutes of questionnaires and 20 minutes of functional tests at each visit and receive $50 for each visit completed. Participants will also complete weekly surveys (~10 min) between Visit 1 and Visit 2. They will receive an additional $50 for completing all surveys. We are looking for high school girls who have not participated in organized sport (sport with a coach or teacher present outside of typical school curriculum [not gym class]) in the last year and are not planning on participating in organized sport in the next year... Participants must be able to walk, run, and jump/hop on one leg. They must also have access to a phone or email to receive and complete weekly electronic surveys.
