Neuronal Effects of Exercise in Schizophrenia
Primary Objective
This study plans to learn more about how common drugs prescribed to individuals with schizophrenia contribute to weight gain, as well as how exercise and diet impact appetite and the brain s response to food. We are also interested in how exercise and diet impact brain responses in autism spectrum disorders. In this study we will be evaluating how your brain responds to food images as well as asking questions about your food preferences and intake and clinical symptoms. We may also ask you to complete a 10-week moderate exercise or diet intervention to see how this changes your brain responses or food preferences.
