Description

You may be eligible for the APD Research Study, which is designed to identify objective measurements (known as biomarkers) of COPD at its earliest stages. These biomarkers can help identify individuals most susceptible to COPD and explore new treatments to address the underlying causes of the disease. What is involved if I participate? Participants may have annual study visits over 2-4 years. Study visits include lung function assessments, two bronchoscopies, CT scans, and the collection of biological samples. Study procedures are provided at no charge. Those who take part will receive compensation for their participation.
