BEGIN Substudy: Continuous Glucose Monitoring in Healthy Children

The objective of this study is to learn more about normal blood sugars in healthy children without chronic disease.

Description

This data is being collected as a sub-study of a larger study, which is looking at blood sugars in children with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). A device called a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) will be used to collect data for this study. The device brand is the Dexcom G6 and it is an FDA-approved device that has been approved for children down to 2 years of age to continuously monitor blood sugars through a sensor, a thin short wire, that is placed beneath the skin on the arm, belly, or upper buttocks.
