The American Lung Association (ALA) Lung Health Cohort

Primary Objective

We want to see how exposures to air pollution, cigarette or marijuana smoke, and job hazards impact lung health in young adults.

Description

Main Procedures Involved: One blood draw, one CT scan (a type of imaging that uses X-ray techniques to create detailed images of the body), nasal swabs, questionnaires.

Duration of Participation: One in-person visit to our clinic, one in-person CT scan, up to 5 years of remote (email) contacts for updates to your health and well-being. Participants will be paid for the duration of their participation and can be removed from the study at any time.

$150 and a free tablet, $50 for each subsequent year of remote visit completion
