Cellular airway differences between asthmatics and non-asthmatics, obese and non-obese body types

Primary Objective

Researchers at the University of Colorado are seeking volunteers for an asthma research study looking at BOTH asthmatics and non-asthmatics. We are looking into how body weight and metabolic syndrome impact the cellular make-up of airway tissue. We are looking for volunteers WITH and WITHOUT asthma. Description

Researchers at the University of Colorado are seeking volunteers for an asthma research study looking at BOTH asthmatics and non-asthmatics. We are looking into how body weight and metabolic syndrome impact the cellular make-up of airway tissue. We are looking for volunteers WITH and WITHOUT asthma. Are you: - Between 18-65 years old? - Not currently smoking cigarettes or marijuana? Then you may qualify! Please reach out to our research team asthmaresearch@ucdenver.edu

Duration of Participation: Up to 3 in-person visits total. Total duration will take 2-4 weeks depending on participant availability and availability in clinic.
