Cellular airway differences between asthmatics and non-asthmatics, obese and non-obese body types
Researchers at the University of Colorado are seeking volunteers for an asthma research study looking at BOTH asthmatics and non-asthmatics. We are looking into how body weight and metabolic syndrome impact the cellular make-up of airway tissue. We are looking for volunteers WITH and WITHOUT asthma. - Between 18-65 years old?
- Not currently smoking cigarettes or marijuana?

Main Procedures Involved: Bronchoscopy, lung function testing, lab draws.

Duration of Participation: Up to 3 in-person visits total. Total duration will take 2-4 weeks depending on participant availability and availability in clinic.
